Freeport Marina provides passenger and luggage transportation services anywhere on Daufuskie Island.  Currently the Freeport Marina also provides bellman service at the Broad Creek Marina where the ferry departs from Hilton Head to Daufuskie Island.

To make reservations for transportation of passengers and or luggage call 843-785-8242.  Leave your name, a contact number (cell phone number preferred), number in your party, ferry departure date-time and location, final destination, and estimated amount of luggage to be transported.  Freeport Marina will call and confirm your reservation.  Reservations should be made at least 24 hours in advance. For parties of 8 or more the earlier you can make a reservation the better.  When checking in, you need to be at the ferry an hour prior to departure to ensure your luggage is tagged properly and makes it on the same ferry as you and your group.  You must also make reservations for checking out. When checking out, luggage should be ready 1.5 hours prior to ferry departure time and passengers should be ready for pick up 45 minutes prior to ferry departure time.
 
Passenger Rates:  $20.00 per adult, one way,  and complimentary for children 2 years and under.  
Land transportation for tagged luggage including bell service complimentary. If there are extreme amounts of luggage for the morning ferries, all luggage will be transported to the island on a later ferry with expect delivery time to your lodging destination after 5:00 p.m.
